NanoTech Materials Skylight Sealer is a 100% acrylic, UV-resistant, water-based glaze designed to restore and protect weathered skylights. This rapid-drying formulation provides excellent resistance to dirt pickup, chalking, and environmental weathering while creating a clear, protective barrier over aged surfaces.

OUTSTANDING FEATURES:

  • 100% acrylic UV-resistant technology
  • Excellent resistance to dirt pickup, chalking, and weathering
  • Rapid drying water-based formulation
  • Clear protective finish
  • Easy brush, roll, or spray application

Skylight Sealer is designed as a dirt-resistant and protective glaze coat for the restoration of weathered skylights.

APPLICATION:

  • The surface must be clean, dry, and free of loose particles or foreign matter.
  • If applying over freshly applied coatings, ensure they are completely cured prior to Skylight Sealer application.
  • Skylight Sealer may be brushed, rolled, or sprayed onto a clean, dry surface. If spraying, material temperature

should be at least 50°F.

APPLICATION PROPERTIES:

Coverage / Yield3 dry mils (1 gal per 200 sq ft)
Dry Time (75°F)2 to 3 hours
Recoat Window2 to 3 hours
Complete Cure5 days

COVERAGE RATE:

  • Apply Skylight Sealer at a rate of ½ gallon per 100 sq. ft. (8 wet mils).
  • Surface texture and wind conditions may affect applied mil thickness.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

This product cures through water evaporation.

  • Do not apply when ambient temperature is below 50°F.
  • Do not apply if temperatures may fall below 32°F within 24 hours of application.
  • Do not apply if rain or dew is expected before the coating dries.
  • Avoid late afternoon applications in high humidity conditions to prevent overnight dew formation and potential

wash-off.

  • On marginal weather days, apply multiple thin coats to ensure proper drying before rain or freeze conditions.

LIMITATIONS:

  • Surface must be clean and dry prior to application.
  • Not recommended for roofs with slopes less than 1/8” in 12 or where ponding water is present.
  • Do not apply over wet substrates.
  • Do not apply when inclement weather is imminent.
  • Complete cure requires full water evaporation. Cool temperatures and high humidity will extend cure time.
