REVISION DATE: 04/07/26

100% Solids Self-Leveling Moisture Cure Sealant NanoTech Materials Rain Safe Leak Repair features self-leveling technology for all seams, fasteners, ridge caps, flashings, and penetrations. It is a moisture-curing, multi-purpose, one-component paintable sealant/adhesive designed for industrial uses requiring elasticity, high strength, and excellent adhesion.

OUTSTANDING FEATURES:

  • All-Weather Application: May be applied to surfaces at or below freezing temperatures (make all

attempts to remove frost). Performs at temperatures as low as -40°F.

  • Wet Surface Adhesion: Bonds to damp surfaces and is rain tolerant during cure.
  • Durability: Cures to a waterproof, tough, flexible sealant that is UV resistant, non-staining, and mildew

resistant.

  • Universal Compatibility: Adheres to all silicones.
  • Eco-Friendly: Low odor, minimal shrinkage, and VOC Compliant.

Suitable for industrial uses requiring high elasticity, high strength, and outstanding adhesion for a wide range of substrates. NanoTech Materials Rain Safe Leak Repair bonds aggressively to:

  • PVC and aged TPO
  • Metal, steel, aluminum, and coated metals
  • Ceramics, glass, wood, and fiberglass
  • Spray foam, Styrofoam, and EPS
  • Concrete, bituminous, and modified bituminous materials
  • Silicone

Note: Contact your local sales representative for specific applications. Always perform a pull test to ensure proper adhesion.

APPLICATION:

Can be applied to most surfaces without primer. Prepare the surface by removing loose material, stones, grease, dust, rust, standing water, bird droppings, algae, and slime mold for optimal adhesion. Bridge all holes, gaps, and joints with NanoTech Materials Fabric, ensuring thorough saturation with NanoTech Materials Rain Safe Leak Repair, applied by stippling with a brush. Apply NanoTech Materials Rain Safe Leak Repair in two coats of 20 wet mils each over capsheet, modified, metal, transite, or concrete after preparation. The first coat can be applied directly over fresh, wet repairs, and curing will proceed slowly. The second coat can be applied once the first coat is dry to the touch (typically 2–3 days at 65°F), avoiding disturbance of any wet patches. Lay NanoTech Materials Fabric into the first coat, stipple it thoroughly, and apply the second coat at the same coverage to eliminate any voids. Ensure NanoTech Materials Fabric is overlapped by at least 2 inches and saturated with NanoTech Materials Rain Safe Leak Repair.
